Manji Taut has emerged as a top contender for the JCB Triumph Hurdle, supported by several bookmakers after being entered fourth by trainer Gordon Elliott at Fairyhouse. Willie Mullins and Paul Townend claimed victory in the BAR 1 Casino Handicap Hurdle with Giro, whose stablemate Ethical Diamond had previously won the Breeders’ Cup Turf.
