Fantasy Basketball Week 7: Biggest Movers and Shakers in the High Score 100 Rankings Revealed!

The High Score 100 showcases the top 100 players in Yahoo’s latest fantasy basketball format, reflecting their performance and production trends throughout the season. Updated weekly, it highlights which players are delivering value and which are fading away.

Here’s a summary of the biggest risers and fallers through Week 6 of fantasy basketball, with the full High Score 100 listed at the article’s end. Rankings are refreshed every Tuesday during the season.

High Score is a new and simplified way to enjoy fantasy basketball on Yahoo, featuring easy rosters and scoring. It’s always a good time to create or join a league.

An important note before discussing the risers: the comeback of star players Tyler Herro (36th) and Jaylen Williams (53rd) in Week 6 caused shifts in the rankings, pushing some rotation players down as minutes and usage adjusted. As more stars return from injury, expect more movement in the middle of the rankings.

Zach Eady (FC, Memphis Grizzlies) climbed 16 spots to 76th overall after an impressive Week 6. He dominated in the win over Sacramento with 32 points on 16-of-20 shooting, 17 rebounds, and 5 blocks, scoring a stunning 64 fantasy points. Since coming back from injury, he’s averaging 13 points, 11 rebounds, and two blocks per game, proving to be a reliable lineup presence.

Josh Hart (G/FC, New York Knicks) also rose 16 spots to 87th overall. As injuries struck New York, Hart stepped up with strong efforts across the board—averaging 17 points, 11.8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3.3 steals in his last four games for a high of 52.5 fantasy points. His Week 6 performance warranted the climb, and he’s expected to maintain consistent production barring further changes.

Cooper Flagg (G/FC, Dallas Mavericks) went up 15 spots to 58th overall, showing notable offensive improvement over the last month. The rookie recorded back-to-back weeks with at least 50 fantasy points and became the youngest NBA player to score 35 points in a game during Week 6’s victory over the Clippers. His growing versatility on both ends is fulfilling his expected upside, with more ranking gains likely on the horizon.

On the other hand, some players dropped significantly:

Author Thompson (FC, Detroit Pistons) fell 28 spots to 118th overall as his production continues to decline. Despite returning to the starting lineup, he hasn’t cracked 30 fantasy points since November 9. Averaging just 30.2 fantasy points per game this season, Thompson’s limited minutes are holding him back, but increased playing time could boost his output.

Jarrett Allen (FC, Cleveland Cavaliers) dropped 20 spots to 100th overall, barely clinging to the last spot in the High Score 100. A finger injury has impacted his recent performance, as he hasn’t topped 30 fantasy points in over two weeks, with his average slipping to 31 points per game.

Jaden McDaniels (FC, Minnesota Timberwolves) slipped 10 spots to 101st overall after a lackluster Week 6 showing with 26 fantasy points. The return of Jaylen Williams and Tyler Herro pushed him down, and his recent performances haven’t been strong enough to keep him in the top 100 despite a strong start earlier in the season.

The full High Score 100 rankings, which reflect ongoing performance trends, are available at the end of the article. Stay tuned for the next update!
