West Ham United are looking to improve their attacking line-up and have identified Joshua Zirkzee as a target.
The player has struggled to get minutes at Manchester United and, according to a report in La Lazio Siamo Noi, West Ham are willing to offer him a way out. They want him to replace Niklas Furkrük at the club. The German striker has struggled to live up to expectations and has not been able to score goals consistently.
He has struggled with injury problems since moving to the Premier League club.
Can West Ham sign Joshua Zirkzee?
It will be interesting to see if West Ham are able to negotiate a deal with the Dutch international. Zirksee has previously shown his quality in Italy and regular football at West Ham could once again bring out the best in the player. This move will be ideal for all concerned. Manchester United do not consider him a key player and may want to sell him for the right price.
Fullkrug needs to move forward
West Ham, meanwhile, are considering selling the German attacker in January and will need suitable reinforcements. The quality of the attacking team is already lacking. Signing a reliable striker in January could be ideal for them. That will make a big difference in the final third. They are currently fighting to remain in the Premier League and adding quality players in January could make a big difference.
The Dutch international striker will be desperate to prove himself at the highest level and a move to West Ham could be his chance. He will be looking to make his mark on English football. He will likely get further playing opportunities at the London club.
