Eintracht Eyes Move for Newcastle’s William Osla

Eintracht Frankfurt’s sporting director, Markus Kresche, reportedly made significant efforts to recruit William Osula from Newcastle during the summer transfer window’s deadline day. However, Newcastle was unwilling to risk losing Alexander Isak to Liverpool while relying solely on Nick Woltemade as their only forward.

According to Sky Germany, Osula still remains a target for Frankfurt. The club is actively looking to hire a Premier League forward this winter and might pursue two strikers during this transfer period.

It seems they have reached a verbal agreement with the Danish forward, who is eager for a transfer. Eintracht plans to secure him on loan for 3 million euros this winter, with an option to purchase for 20 million euros next summer.

Sky Sports has indicated that Eintracht has a list of alternative options, such as Younes Evnotalib from SV Elversberg, in case the deal for Osula falls through again. Conversely, Niklas Furkurg, who is contemplating a departure from West Ham this winter, is not among Kresche’s preferred choices.

Fan Take: This news is crucial for soccer enthusiasts as it highlights Eintracht Frankfurt’s determination to strengthen their squad, which could significantly impact their performance in the Bundesliga. A successful acquisition of a talented forward like Osula could boost the team’s chances for European competition and ultimately heighten excitement around the league.
