A’s Fans Experience Exclusive Virtual Sneak Peek of $2 Billion Las Vegas Stadium of Tomorrow

If you want to get a feel for the new Athletics stadium, now you have the chance. The team recently unveiled an interactive space where fans can explore the future $2 billion ballpark being built in Las Vegas, set to open in 2028. This exhibit is situated in the Uncommons mixed-use development in southwest Las Vegas Valley and features park models, interactive displays, and seating concepts.

A highlight of the space is an immersive cube—a virtual version of the upcoming stadium—allowing visitors to step inside and experience their surroundings through a 270-degree, 26.5 million-pixel LED screen that covers the walls, floor, and ceiling. The cube spans 3,500 cubic feet and can hold up to 12 people simultaneously.

Owner John Fisher expressed excitement about the scale of the display, noting it provides a much larger and clearer view than typical computer screens, showing aspects like what will happen to nearby properties like Bally’s, MGM, and New York-New York, plus new club spaces and suites. The team plans to keep enhancing the cube’s programming to gather fan feedback.

The Athletics have undergone significant changes recently, announcing a move to Las Vegas after the 2023 season, playing their last Oakland season amid protests, and planning to play in Sacramento temporarily until the new stadium is ready. Now fans can finally get a glimpse inside their future home.

Fan Take: This interactive experience is a game-changer for baseball fans eager to connect with the Athletics’ future in Las Vegas. It represents a bold step in stadium innovation that could set a new standard for fan engagement in the sport.
