According to TEAMtalk, 24-year-old winger Real Madrid star Rodrygo is reportedly open to a move to the Premier League, with several English giants including Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur closely monitoring his situation.

Rodrygo’s decision to consider a move appears to be driven by a desire to gain regular playing time, which will be an important factor as competition at Real Madrid intensifies as the 2026 World Cup approaches.

Under manager Xabi Alonso, his minutes have been limited and he has been pushed down the pecking order, especially after the arrival of other attacking stars.

Rodrigo wants to move to Premier League

Rodrygo has made his intentions clear and if he does not get a consistent start, he is prepared to move to England for a new challenge and, more importantly, to reignite his ambitions with the Brazilian national team.

Arsenal and Liverpool are among the frontrunners due to their need for a dynamic winger and his ability to provide regular first-team minutes.

Manchester City have long admired Rodrygo’s combination of speed, technical skill and versatility, qualities that would fit well into Josep Guardiola’s attacking system.

Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Manchester United are also keeping an eye on him, but so far there doesn’t seem to be much interest.

Real Madrid are reportedly reluctant to let Rodrygo go easily. The club values him at around 80 million euros, making a move in January likely difficult.

However, sources say Madrid would ideally want him to stay until the summer before considering a departure.

For Rodrigo, a move to England could give him the competitive action he so desperately desires. This is essential not only for his form but also for securing a place in the Brazil World Cup squad.

If they have a good season in the Premier League, they may be able to regain their standing at home and abroad.

Letting Rodrigo go, even if it means paying a hefty fee, would mean a big change in Real Madrid’s attacking options.

This could mark the end of a chapter and the beginning of a tactical realignment at the Bernabéu, as other forwards are ready to step up.
