The countdown to the 2026 World Cup is on, with FIFA set to reveal the official schedule on Saturday. This announcement follows a draw at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. on Friday. FIFA President Gianni Infantino, alongside iconic players like Ronaldo Nazario, Francesco Totti, and Hristo Stoichkov, will unveil the schedule for the 104 matches that will take place next summer across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The announcement will occur at noon ET, detailing the venues and kickoff times for the 48 participating teams. However, the complete match schedule won’t be finalized until March, after the FIFA and European playoff matches conclude and the last six teams qualify. Here’s what fans need to know about the schedule announcement.
