  • Mo Salah removed from Liverpool squad
  • Anfield officials are outraged by Salah’s actions

In a major incident that has shocked the world of football, Mohamed Salah has been left out of Liverpool’s squad for their upcoming match against Inter Milan in Italy.

Fabrice Hawkins says the decision was taken jointly by manager Arn Slott and the Liverpool board and shows that growing tensions between the club and their star forward have reached a breaking point.

The Egyptian captain’s exclusion comes at a time of upheaval for Liverpool on and off the pitch.

There was speculation that his relationship with Slott was strained, but sources have confirmed that Salah will not be part of the traveling squad for important matches in Europe.

This is the first time Salah has been ruled out of a major European match while healthy and available since joining the club in 2017.

Salah has made it clear in recent comments that his relationship with manager Arne Slott is non-existent and has been thrown under the bus by the club.

His form for the Reds this season has been poor, but neither have most of Liverpool’s players. However, he was the only first team starter to be relegated to the bench.

It’s surprising that so many other players on the team could be as well.

Salah spoke to the media after Liverpool drew 3-3 with Leeds United at the weekend.

He was not afraid to criticize managers and clubs, and made sure to criticize media outlets that he believed treated players differently than he did.

These comments reportedly infuriated both Slott and the board of directors, who considered them a violation of internal discipline.

Salah’s absence from the game against Inter, a key match in Liverpool’s European tour, shows the depth of the rift.

The club’s latest decision at this point shows they are backing the manager rather than the player who helped them win the Premier League last season.
