Klaravich’s horse Fully Subscribed secured a significant victory by winning the $200,000 Camry (G3) at Aqueduct Racecourse on Sunday, boosting his status as a favorite. The filly, trained by Chad Brown, had previously captured the Mother Goose (G2) by four and a half lengths on November 8th, marking her third career win in just five races. After debuting successfully at the New York track last October, she took an 11-month break but returned in September with a strong performance ahead of the Mother Goose.

This win continues Chad Brown’s impressive streak, marking his third consecutive victory in this event, following wins in 2023 and 2024 with Raging Sea and Pretty Anna. Fully Subscribed, ridden by Flavian Prat, started strong from the 5-7 favorite spot and competed closely against runners like John Velasquez’s filly and Kappa Kappa. The race unfolded at a brisk pace, with the first 400 meters covered in 24.01 seconds.

Prat praised the filly’s excellent start and control during the race, stating she handled the trip well and maintained pace alongside key competitors. The two leaders, Fully Subscribed and Kappa Kappa, pulled away in the backstretch, with Fully Subscribed sustaining her momentum through the final stretch to finish in 1:50.55, four lengths ahead of the next closest challengers.

The contest saw Quiet Side finishing strongly for second place, followed by Our Day Dreaming Girl, Valtellina, Kappa Kappa, and No Sable filling out the top spots. There was a disruption at the start involving Yes It Ties, who was later declared a non-starter after a stewards’ investigation due to being influenced by an assistant starter.

Prat reflected that the unusual start altered his initial race strategy but expressed confidence in the horse’s capability, which was affirmed by trainer Chad Brown. Fully Subscribed, bred by Payson Stud in Kentucky, had been bought for $300,000 at the OBS Spring Sale for 2-year-olds and comes from a strong pedigree, being out of the Candy Ride (ARG) mare Sweet Baby and descending from the successful Millionaire Lusarienne. The win earned the horse $110,000 and a $3.14 payout on a $2 bet.

Fan Take: Fully Subscribed’s commanding win not only highlights the dominance of Chad Brown’s stable but also signals the rise of a promising contender in the sport. For horse racing fans, this victory injects excitement and showcases the potential for thrilling future matchups, making the sport more captivating and competitive.
