Miguel Almiron and the Paraguay national team have now pinpointed their route to success in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, having learned about their group stage rivals, the venues for their matches, and the schedules.

When Will the World Cup Take Place? How Can You Watch It?

The World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026. This tri-nation event will conclude with the finals at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on July 19. Fans can catch all World Cup action, including live games, highlights, and analysis, on the FOX networks and the FOX Sports app.

Paraguay’s Group and Opponents

Paraguay has been placed in Group D, competing against the following teams:

  • United States
  • Australia
  • The winner of the UEFA Playoffs C (teams include Slovakia, Kosovo, Turkiye, and Romania), which will be determined in March 2026.

Paraguay’s Match Schedule

During the World Cup draw held on December 5 at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., Paraguay learned who they will face in the group stage. Their three fixtures are as follows:

  • June 12: Paraguay vs. USA — SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, USA (9 PM ET)
  • June 20: Paraguay vs. UEFA Playoffs C (Slovakia, Kosovo, Turkiye, Romania) — Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, California (12 AM ET)
