  • Manchester United considering signing new playmaker despite Mount’s return
  • ‘Great’ Guler could excel at Old Trafford
        • Man United express interest in signing South American striker who ripped PSG apart

Manchester United are currently accelerating their efforts to sign the “fantastic” Real Madrid star, who is attracting interest from a number of top Premier League clubs.

Manchester United considering signing new playmaker despite Mount’s return

Mason Mount hasn’t exactly had an easy time at Man United, having spent a lot of time with injuries, but there are signs the attacking midfielder is now coming back into form, with his top form against Wolverhampton Wanderers earning him the Premier League Player of the Matchweek award.

With Mount showing signs of improvement and Brian Mbeumo hitting the ground running at Old Trafford and already scoring six Premier League goals, Ruben Amorim has some top quality attacking options at his disposal.

Matheus Cunha and Bruno Fernandes also provided an attacking threat in the 4-1 win over Wolves, with the latter scoring twice, but the Red Devils are still keen to sign a new attacking midfielder.

Manchester United are in talks to sign Real Madrid star Arda Güler, according to reports from Spain, with the club accelerating their efforts to sign the Turkish player for a reported £88 million.

United, along with Arsenal, are in the front row to sign Guller, and with both clubs, along with Liverpool, in the hunt for Guller, there could be fierce competition.

However, interested Premier League clubs may have to be patient as Madrid have no intention of signing the 20-year-old at the moment.

‘Great’ Guler could excel at Old Trafford

The youngster has impressed with some of his performances for Madrid this season and was praised by The Athletic’s journalist Guillermo Rai earlier this month.

The playmaker has already provided seven assists in all competitions this season, two of which came in the Champions League, and also provided three goals.

Xabi Alonso is also clearly very happy with the starlet, saying: “In terms of his quality, he’s like a combination of Ozil and Guti. Guti had the vision and finesse to connect plays and maneuvers close to the goal. I really enjoyed playing football with Mesut. Arda has something special, a natural talent that you can’t teach.”

Man United express interest in signing South American striker who ripped PSG apart

United have set their sights on a new striker as Joshua Zirkzee’s future at Old Trafford is in doubt.

What may intrigue United supporters is the fact that he scored on his European Championship debut for Turkey in 2024, making him the fifth-youngest goalscorer in the competition’s history and breaking Cristiano Ronaldo’s record as the youngest debutant to find the back of the net.

That said, signing a new attacking midfielder shouldn’t be a priority for Man United, given that Mount has shown very promising signs and Fernandes continues to impress, but Guler is clearly a very talented player with a bright future ahead of him.
