Chelsea defender Axel DiSasi is reportedly set to leave the club in January.

The 27-year-old has struggled to get regular minutes at the London club and needs to move on in search of regular minutes.

Axel DiSasi offered by Real Madrid

Defensa Central reports that he has no future at Chelsea and his agent is currently approaching Real Madrid with an offer for their client. It will be interesting to see if the Spanish team are willing to take this opportunity and sign him on loan until the end of the season.

The former Monaco defender has shown his quality in Ligue 1 in the past, but a move to England didn’t work out. It will be interesting to see if he can demonstrate those qualities in Spain.

Real Madrid need more quality and depth in their defensive unit and the €45m Chelsea ace could prove useful as a loan signing. This is a no-risk signing and if he impresses, Real Madrid could sign him for cheap.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid are already dealing with injury problems at the back. Eder Militao is currently sidelined due to injury. However, reports suggest that Real Madrid are reluctant to make short-term additions. It will be interesting to see if they decide to spend the rest of the season with their current options at their disposal.

Disasi, on the other hand, will need to figure out his future quickly. Sitting on the bench at Chelsea won’t do him any favors. He needs to play more often at this stage of his career. If Real Madrid are not interested in him, they should consider other opportunities.
