Dan Hooker remains active as he prepares for his upcoming fight.

Ilia Topuria will not be returning to defend his UFC lightweight title soon, as he is currently focused on other aspects of his life.

Despite Topuria’s absence, the lightweight division is buzzing with activity, with many top fighters arranging major matchups recently.

Hooker, who reached out to Renato Moicano after a recent defeat, is among those eager to keep fighting.

He is likely to compete at UFC 325 next month but continues to pursue other interests passionately.

Dan Hooker’s “1-Minute Scraps” series has gained attention, earning him the nickname “Best Dad on Earth.”

Although Hooker lost to Arman Tsarukyan in Qatar last month and won’t be UFC champion anytime soon, his fighting spirit remains strong as he aims to disrupt others’ dreams.

He has taken on the role of promoter again, organizing the upcoming fight featuring Benoît Saint-Denis, which is expected to be the Fight of the Night on January 31st.

Hooker’s “1-Minute Scraps” recently returned for another boxing event, where he stated before Christmas that only he could award the winner’s prize money.

The full tournament, lasting just under an hour and ten minutes, was posted on YouTube by TheMacLife.

Due to the tournament’s random draw, a competitor faced his brother in the semifinals, but the final victor, who delivered a dominant performance, won $50,000.

Looking ahead, Hooker has ambitious plans for the next tournament.

He revealed after the latest event and several others held at his gym that he wants to take the tournament back to his hometown.

Hooker also intends to raise the stakes by doubling the prize money to $100,000 for the next competition.

Fan Take: Dan Hooker’s dedication to staying active and engaging with fans through unique events like “1-Minute Scraps” highlights his passion beyond just fighting. This kind of innovation keeps the sport fresh and builds community, ultimately benefiting fighters and fans alike.
