The Premier League’s Matchday 16 wrapped up on Monday night with an exhilarating clash between Manchester United and Bournemouth at Old Trafford, where both teams scored four goals.

Amad Diallo opened the scoring in the 13th minute, but Antoine Semenyo equalized in the 40th minute. Just before halftime, Casemiro put United back in front, yet Evanilson leveled again less than a minute into the second half. In the 52nd minute, Marcus Tavernier stunned the crowd with a brilliant free kick to give Bournemouth the lead. Manchester United’s captain Bruno Fernandes responded fiercely, equalizing in the 77th minute. Then, when Matheus Cunha put United ahead again in the 79th minute, it seemed all points would stay at home. However, Bournemouth’s substitute Eli Junior Crupi had other plans, scoring in the 84th minute to ensure his team left with a draw.

In addition to the eight goals scored, both teams created numerous opportunities, showcasing impressive saves from goalkeepers Senne Ramens and Djordje Petrovic.
