On Tuesday night, the Columbus Blue Jackets snapped their five-game losing streak with a thrilling 4-3 overtime victory against the Ducks, thanks to Adam Fantilli’s decisive goal with just 1:28 remaining in the extra period. Zach Werenski celebrated his 600th NHL game with two goals and one assist, Boone Jenner contributed a goal and an assist, and Kent Johnson provided two assists. Meanwhile, Jett Greaves made 24 saves, securing his first win since November 20.

For the Ducks, Mikael Granlund scored a goal and recorded an assist, Ryan Strome and Jackson Lacombe also found the net, and Ryan Poehling added two assists. Ville Husso stopped 24 shots as the Ducks dropped their third game on a five-city road trip.

Werenski opened the scoring for Columbus at 8:21 in the first period, assisted by Jenner, extending his home point streak to 11 games. Strome responded for the Ducks with a shot from the crease at 3:35 in the second period, but Columbus quickly countered with two goals in just 43 seconds—Werenski scoring first, followed by Jenner’s backhanded goal off an Ivan Provorov rebound.

Granlund narrowed the gap at 5:29, and Lacombe equalized with 3:16 remaining in the third period. Fantilli sealed the win with his overtime wrister from the right circle. This victory marked Columbus’ first home win against the Ducks since December 1, 2017.
