  • Can Manchester United accommodate Said El Mara?
  • Spurs move could be ideal for El Mara

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are considering signing FC Köln winger Saeed El Mara.

The 19-year-old has been doing very well for the German club, contributing nine goals in 14 games. He could be a quality signing for both Premier League clubs, and it remains to be seen where he ends up.

Liverpool and Chelsea are also interested in signing El Mara.

Can Manchester United accommodate Said El Mara?

Manchester United signed players such as Brian Mbeumo and Matthies Cunha in the summer, and they achieved good results. However, I feel that we need to add depth to our offensive line. The 19-year-old has the technical qualities to flourish in English football, but a move to Manchester United may not be ideal for El Mara. He needs to play every week to continue to develop, but the Red Devils may not be able to offer him that spot.

Tottenham, on the other hand, are in need of a quality left-sided attacker and El Mara could be the ideal player for them. They could offer him regular opportunities. They have relied too much on Mohamed Kudus for creativity and unpredictability in attack. Signing a 19-year-old player could lead to further development.

Lukas Kwasniok previously described El Mara as a “street footballer with a God-given talent”.

According to a report in BILD, the two Premier League clubs are preparing offers of around 30 million to 40 million euros for the attacker. But German clubs will try harder. It remains to be seen whether they can negotiate a reasonable contract to sign the player.

El Mara would be attracted to the idea of a move to the Premier League. It will be a big opportunity for him and he will test himself against some of England’s top players. A move to Manchester United or Tottenham could accelerate his development and help him realize his potential.
