Liverpool are interested in signing Guinea-Bissau forward Franklino Djou.
The 21-year-old has performed very well at Midtjylland and has also attracted the attention of Bayern Munich. The player’s transfer fee will be around 25-30 million euros, and it will be interesting to see whether Liverpool make a formal offer to sign him.
According to Christian Falk, Liverpool are “very interested” in acquiring his signature. He could be a long-term asset for the Premier League club. They need more quality in the final third and Dju would be a great option. The opportunity to join the English champions will be exciting for the attacker as well. He plans to test himself at the highest level.
However, players must choose their next destination carefully. He should aim to join a club where he can play regularly. At Liverpool he will be behind Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike. He may not be able to start regularly. It will negatively affect his growth.
He replaces Harry Kane at Bayern Munich. The England international is nearing the end of his peak and Dju could be the ideal long-term replacement.
It will be interesting to see where the 21-year-old ends up. He is a talented and promising player who could be an asset to both teams. The asking price seems reasonable for a player of his potential. He may be able to justify investing in the future.
The striker has scored 21 goals in 30 competitive games, including 16 and 17 league games. He is in sensational form and would be ideal now to take on a new challenge and join a bigger club.
