Antoine Semenyo has been linked with a move from Bournemouth, with Manchester United and Manchester City interested.

Both clubs want to sign the 25-year-old Ghanaian international. According to Fabrizio Romano, they have already started “direct negotiations” to sign the player. However, journalists made it clear that ultimately it would be up to the players themselves. The attacker has not yet decided on potential moves.

His contract has a release clause of £65m, which he has until January 10th to trigger. It remains to be seen which of the two clubs will be able to conclude a contract. They have the resources to pay the asking price and Semenyo could be a great addition.

He has done very well for the Cherries and has the ability to compete at a higher level.

Manchester United and Manchester City need more depth in their wings. They need people who can create opportunities and find the back of the net on a regular basis. The 25-year-old could be the ideal player for them. The opportunity to play for some of the biggest clubs in the world would be difficult for the attacker to turn down. He has reached the peak of his career and now is the perfect time to take on a new challenge. He aims to fight for trophies and regularly qualify for the Champions League.

The asking price may seem expensive at the moment, but the player has his best years ahead of him and could justify the expense in the future.

Semenyo has been hailed as ‘world class’ and could improve even further by playing in the first team alongside quality players.
