The FIA, Formula 1’s governing authority, has published the official entry list for the 2026 season. This list features all 11 teams, including the newcomer Cadillac, and confirms driver numbers for the inaugural season under F1’s new regulations.

Although Audi has taken over the Swiss outfit, the Sauber name remains on the entry list. The entity listed is Sauber Motorsport AG, but the racing name will be Audi Revolt F1 Team, following the announcement of Audi’s title sponsorship. Meanwhile, McLaren will compete under the official title McLaren Mastercard F1 Team, reflecting a new sponsorship deal.

Other title sponsorship changes include Haas being renamed to TGR Haas F1 Team, representing their partnership with Toyota Gazoo Racing. Driver number shifts include world champion Lando Norris switching from No. 4 to No. 1 and Max Verstappen changing his race number from 33 to 3. Rookie Arvid Lindblad will debut with number 41 at Racing Bulls.

Cadillac marks a fresh entry to the grid, fielding Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas as they make their return after a year’s absence. The full entry list features all teams, drivers, chassis, and power units, shining a light on the significant reshuffle and new alliances in F1 for 2026.

Fan Take: This entry list signals a thrilling new chapter in F1, as fresh partnerships and team identities ignite fresh competition. For racing fans, seeing legendary names paired with novel sponsors and the arrival of Cadillac adds a renewed sense of excitement and unpredictability to the sport’s future.
