Never mind that the PNC Championship is a family-friendly event, that it’s a competitive event, or that everyone is in the holiday spirit. No one plays to lose at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida.
Especially on Sunday, when the final round will be played.
“Last year we were in last place so it was a firecracker situation,” pro Nick Price said Saturday afternoon.
“It didn’t feel very good,” said son Greg Price.
Nick Price said, “I told Greg he wasn’t very happy after the last round last year, so it has to hurt. If it hurts, I know you’re concerned. So this year it’s just different. We put on a smile and said we’re just going to go play golf and have fun. That’s the real key.”

Next up is Kuchards. When a reporter asked pro Matt and his son Cameron about the level they want to win at, they answered as follows:
Prime Minister Cameron replied, “Yes.”
Matt said, “We’ve been through the experience of not winning title belts. Belts are pretty cool. Cam has been eyeing things like that for a while. You know, our family, it’s definitely competitive, and it’s definitely a great experience to be at an event like this. Win, lose or draw, well, it’s a great week, but to come out on top and win the parent-son title is a bonus.”
Entering Sunday, Kuchards led PNC by two points over John Daly and his son, John Daly II, who will tee off for the final time at 11:27 a.m. There are three groups three behind the lead and five groups four behind.

PNC’s telecast begins Sunday at 11:30 a.m., moves to Peacock at 12:30 p.m., and moves to NBC at 1:30 p.m.
