Jake Paul’s Comeback Sooner Than Anticipated: Recovery Timeline After Double Jaw Fracture Unveiled

Jake Paul is currently in recovery following the first knockout defeat of his boxing tenure, now holding a record of 12 wins and 2 losses. During a match in Miami, Florida, on Friday night, Anthony Joshua sustained a double fracture to his jaw. Hours after the six-round stoppage defeat to the former two-time world heavyweight champion, Jake Paul underwent surgery. Although the injury seemed potentially career-ending, his business partner, Nakisa Bidalian—also a YouTuber turned boxer—has minimized its severity.

Nakisa Bidalian, co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions, shared in an interview with Ariel Helwani that Paul’s double jaw fracture should heal fully in a matter of weeks. He explained that while the pain fluctuates throughout the day, Paul’s recovery is expected to take five to six weeks, with the boxer aiming to return to the ring by 2026. Bidalian emphasized that a broken jaw is not necessarily a career-ending injury, referencing mixed martial artist Junior dos Santos who broke his jaw, had it repaired with a plate, and returned to become a champion.

Despite his knockout loss to Anthony Joshua, Jake Paul remains determined to pursue a world title. Meanwhile, Bidalian denied rumors of match-fixing that have shadowed Paul’s career, stating that their legal team is actively combating false claims. He dismissed conspiracy theories, including one alleging an agreement that Joshua wouldn’t knock Paul out, which Joshua supposedly broke. Bidalian also mentioned seeing baseless accusations from Lou DiBella, who challenged them to sue over claims that it wasn’t a genuine fight, with Joshua supposedly holding back.
