Manchester United is reportedly in discussions with Al Hilal regarding the potential acquisition of Ruben Neves during the upcoming January transfer window, according to manager Fabrizio Romano. The reputable Italian journalist noted that United has reached out to Neves’ agent, whose contract with the Saudi Professional League team runs until the end of this season.

Romano mentioned on his YouTube channel, “From what I’ve gathered, Manchester United has been in talks with Ruben Neves’ agent about various matters. While there have been discussions to explore certain opportunities, I haven’t heard of any formal negotiations initiated with Al Hilal.”

Currently, Manchester United is positioned seventh in the Premier League, having collected 26 points over 17 matches, and are only three points behind fourth-place Chelsea.
