Conor McGregor Launches Quest for the ‘World’s Baddest Man’ Ahead of $25 Million Showdown

Conor McGregor, also known as “The Notorious,” is set to use his promotional talents for a new documentary series launching in 2026. Although McGregor hasn’t fought since July 2021 and received an unexpected invitation to return to the octagon, his focus has shifted toward his new role in promotion. Joe Rogan, who has witnessed McGregor’s passionate press conferences since becoming co-owner of BKFC, praises him as one of the greatest promoters ever. This new documentary will further expand McGregor’s ambitious plans for the coming year.

While McGregor has hinted at a UFC comeback, he remains a key figure within BKFC. Earlier this year, he revealed that BKFC aims to host “the most lucrative tournament in all of martial arts” — the World Baddest Man tournament set for 2026, featuring a massive $25 million prize. BKFC’s Chairman David Feldman recently announced on Instagram a partnership with KissFly Productions to produce a documentary series starting in May, chronicling the journeys of fighters competing for the title of the “baddest man in the world.” McGregor will host the series. KissFly Productions is noted for TV shows like “American Chopper” and “Hoffman Family Gold.”

BKFC’s upcoming event calendar includes their annual “Knucklemania” card on February 7th, headlined by ex-UFC fighters Ben Rothwell and Andrei Arlovski battling for the BKFC heavyweight title at Philadelphia’s Xfinity Mobile Arena. Another notable fight features former UFC title contender Yoel Romero facing Lorenzo Hunt.

Fan Take: Conor McGregor’s move into promotion, especially with such a high-profile documentary, showcases his expanding influence beyond fighting, potentially bringing more mainstream attention to bare-knuckle boxing and the broader combat sports world. For fans, McGregor’s involvement might signal exciting growth and innovation in martial arts entertainment in the years ahead.
