According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City is determined to retain Sabinho during the January transfer window.

The renowned Italian journalist reports that City plans to keep the Brazilian winger for the remainder of the season, despite interest from Tottenham Hotspur, who are looking to make a move for him in the summer of 2025.

During an appearance on the Men in Blazers YouTube Channel, Romano stated, “No, I think it’s more complicated to sign Savinho in January. The summer is uncertain, so we’ll have to wait and see.”

“However, since Man City recently extended Sabinho’s contract, I don’t expect them to alter his situation at this time.”

“They clearly have faith in him for this season.”

Currently, Manchester City holds the second position in the Premier League with 40 points after 18 matches, trailing leaders Arsenal, who have played 19 games and have 45 points.
