  • Tammy Abraham to resolve West Ham’s striker crisis?
  • Can West Ham do better than Tammy Abraham?

West Ham United reportedly approached the potential relocation of former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.

England International, currently funded by AC Milan from Rome, is expected to leave Italy this summer and return to the Premier League.

In the latest report, West Ham is making their interest known, and the hammers look short in advance and need someone who has proven quality.

Even if Abraham wasn’t that consistent during Serie A, he has always been a pretty reliable finisher and has shown in the past that he can score in the Premier League at a decent rating.

Abraham seemed like a big prospect when he first broke through at Chelsea, but in the end he didn’t get it at Stanford Bridge.

He then began to brighten up in Rome before fading, and he was almost dominated by a loan stint with Milan this season.

Still, West Ham would see the 27-year-old as a decent option given that there is no goal for the team right now.

Danny Ings will leave at the end of his contract this summer, but while Niklas Fullkrag’s future will certainly be somewhat questionable, Michelle Antonio has yet to return from his bad injuries.

Can West Ham do better than Tammy Abraham?

In fact, Abraham’s recent form is quite poor so I imagine there are some whufc fans wondering if the club will be better.

Abraham certainly won’t be cheaper at £93,000 a week, but it’s not yet clear what transfer fees he can command.

West Ham is probably good to spend the time on this deal and make sure other options are being investigated too.
