West Ham United have agreed to sign Argentine striker Tati Castellanos.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past. The Hammers appear to have agreed a fee of 29 million euros to sign him with the Italian club, but it remains to be seen whether they will be able to get over the line immediately.
Leeds also wanted to sign Castellanos.

West Ham need Castellanos
Castellanos has performed very well at Lazio and has the physicality to play well in the Premier League. West Ham are in desperate need of a quality striker, so it’s no wonder they decided to sign the South American.
They are currently fighting to stay in the Premier League and need more quality from their squad. Adding a reliable goalscorer could be a wise move. The 27-year-old has proven his quality in Serie A and will now look to make his mark in the Premier League.
West Ham have struggled to find the back of the goal on a regular basis and will be hoping their new signings can make an immediate impact. A club of their stature should be aiming to qualify and qualify for Europe, but instead they are now fighting for survival.
Castellanos wants to prove his worth in English football and help ensure the team’s safety this season.
Nicklas Furkrug and Callum Wilson failed to live up to expectations at West Ham and an upgrade was needed. Fans will be happy to see the club have addressed a major concern and will help the now-new signing see some fireworks.
