Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenbirch.

The Dutch international has performed extremely well since joining the Premier League club, establishing himself as one of the first names on the sheet. According to Fijages, Real Madrid are looking to sign a high-quality player to strengthen their midfield and have already submitted an offer of 120 million euros for the player.

Barcelona are also interested in Grafenwerch.

It remains to be seen whether Liverpool are prepared to accept this offer. According to reports, Liverpool view Gravenbirch as an essential asset, but also recognize that selling him for a high price could help improve multiple areas of the team.

The Dutch international is under contract with Liverpool until 2028, but it remains to be seen what decision Liverpool will make.

Already lacking in quality and depth in the middle of the park. They have relied too much on Grabenbert, Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister. If they sell the Dutch international, they will need to invest in several central midfielders. They are already in a transition period and have made too many changes to their team. It remains to be seen whether they are prepared to make multiple changes in the center of the park next season as well.

Ideally, Liverpool should aim to keep their best players and build around them. A title fight was expected this season, but things haven’t gone according to plan. They are currently fighting for a top-four spot. They should try to keep the team intact and plug their weaknesses in the upcoming period.

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old midfielder is enjoying his football at Liverpool and is unlikely to be forced to leave the club. Real Madrid could be an attractive destination for most players, but so far this deal looks questionable.
