Aaron Gordon and Christian Braun Poised for Denver Comeback Against Brooklyn This Sunday

Aaron Gordon has been sidelined for 19 games due to a right hamstring strain, while Christian Braun missed 23 games recovering from an ankle sprain. Both players are now listed as questionable and might make their return to action in Brooklyn on Sunday.

Denver is currently facing challenges with four starters out of the lineup. Nikola Jokic has been absent for several weeks because of a hyperextended knee, and Cam Johnson has also been out with the same injury. Bringing back Gordon and Braun would provide valuable depth to the team’s rotation.

Before his injury, Gordon was having a strong season, averaging 18.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. Braun, in 11 games, averaged 11.4 points but has struggled with his shooting.

Fan Take: The potential return of Gordon and Braun is a significant boost for Denver, offering fans renewed hope for a stronger finish to the season. Their comeback could shift the team’s dynamics and add excitement to the playoff race, highlighting how critical player health is to maintaining competitive balance in the sport.
