You’re swinging all the way to the top, putting your weight firmly on your back foot and loading correctly on the trail side. Well, what is it?
As you probably know, it’s important to use the ground to transfer your weight from your back foot to your front foot as you begin your downswing. This is non-negotiable.

However, the key point is that your head doesn’t follow when you make this all-important weight shift. Please put it back.
In fact, it’s good to actually feel your head moving away from the target as you move from back to front. Dropping the head back and moving the lower body toward the target creates the whip-like motion and top speed common to all big hitters.
Moving the head with the shift can disrupt the path, forcing an outside-to-inside pass or creating an excessive inside-to-outside pass. So when you swing, especially when you swing with a driver, think about two forces: the forward force with your lower body, and the backward force with your head.
I don’t know what hit the ball.
