Bidding is now open for Fasig-Tipton Digital’s “Express Kid Flash Sale,” an online auction featuring Express Kid, the recent winner of the Springboard Mile Stakes. The auction will close this Friday, January 9th, at 4pm ET.

The 3-year-old stallion is being offered by Agent Paramount Sales.

Express Kid secured his latest victory by an impressive 6 1/4 lengths in the $300,000 Springboard Mile Stakes at Remington Park on December 20, achieving a career-best 85 Beyer Speed Figure with a gate-to-wire performance. This win earned him 10 qualifying points for the Kentucky Derby.

With three wins in five career starts and earnings totaling $236,902, Express Kid has demonstrated versatility. He made his debut at four furlongs on July 3 and finished second in the Prairie Meadows Freshman Stakes over six furlongs on August 16. He also has a turf win around the second corner.

“Express Kid delivered the finest performance of his career by winning the Springboard Mile during his first two-turn dirt race,” said Leif Aaron, director of digital sales for Fasig-Tipton. “His growth and progress are especially exciting as we approach the Kentucky Derby prep season.”

Express Kid’s pedigree is rich with classic bloodlines. He is a multiple winner sired by Kentucky Derby champion Street Sense. His second dam, Stormy West, was a successful stakes winner and offspring of Gone West, while his third dam, Storm Beauty, was a multiple stakes winner by Storm Cat, known for producing multiple stakes winners.

Prospective buyers can see Express Kid in action at Turf Paradise in Phoenix, Arizona.
