club bruges winger Manager Christos Tzoris has mentioned Liverpool as one of the teams he might consider moving to, but there are currently no plans to move.
The in-form 23-year-old is currently having an excellent season in Belgium, with an impressive 11 goals and 15 assists in all competitions so far.
This has led to huge speculation about Tzoris potentially moving to a bigger club, with TEAMtalk naming Tottenham as one of his fans and Christian Falk mentioning he is on Bayern Munich’s list.
Still, the player himself played down the speculation, although he admitted he would be tempted by offers from “crazy” clubs like Liverpool and Barcelona.
Christos Tzoris drops hints of Liverpool move
Discussing his future with Het Nysblad, the Greek international said he would like to make it to the first team one day, as quoted and translated by Sport Witness.
“I want to go to the first team. That’s all I can say.”
“I’m not even considering it because I’m not aware of any specific interest at this time. Maybe you know more than me.”
“First of all, I want to win the title here, but no one knows that, so I can’t say with 100% certainty that I will stay this winter.
“If a crazy team like Barcelona or Liverpool comes along… you know what I mean anyway. But I don’t think that’s going to happen in the winter.”
Liverpool need new signings in attack
It has been a frustrating season at Anfield, so it looks like Liverpool could land a talent like Tzoris.
Mohamed Salah’s form has fallen off a cliff and new arrivals like Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz have not made the impact many expected.
Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola is also an interesting target for Liverpool, but Tzolis appears set to sign an exciting deal with a big club in a more competitive league.
