Manchester United’s new caretaker manager Michael Carrick has been advised to sack Joshua Zirkzee after it appears he does not want him at the club.
The Dutch international has struggled to establish himself at Old Trafford despite impressing as a young player at Bologna.
However, Man United certainly need to consider some changes after their recent poor run of form, which led to the sacking of former manager Ruben Amorim.
Carrick is currently in charge until the end of the season, and former Red Devils ace Paul Parker is discussing what he should do now that he is in charge of the team.

Parker told United District: “It doesn’t seem like Zirksee wants to be at the club so I think it’s best for all parties for him to leave.”
“There’s no point in keeping players who don’t want to play, I’d rather see young players who really want to play and contribute to the long-term success of the club.
“In terms of considering a sale, I think Carrick has to try to find and play the key players that he thinks are in his immediate plans. I don’t think it’s time for him to run out everyone.”
“I’m sure he knows the key players who will be playing every week. If Carrick can get a stable squad, with no cup competitions and no European football, he will do that to keep racking up points and winning games. So let’s find what works and keep doing it.”
Possibility of away transfer for Joshua Zirkzee emerging
Several clubs have recently been linked with Zirksee, and the 24-year-old is likely to have a number of offers in the pipeline.
Everton were one of the clubs that iNews recently linked with Gilsey, while Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Roma are keen and that he has approved a potential move.
There doesn’t seem to be a final decision on this yet, but offloading Zirkzee as soon as possible could be a good move for Carrick.
Meanwhile, Zirkzee himself could probably benefit from a return to Serie A after performing well there in the past, with English football looking a bit too much for him.
