Charlie Woods will be competing in the Elite Junior Golf Tournament in February.
Woods, a junior at Benjamin School and the son of legendary golfer Tiger Woods, is competing in the AJGA Simplify Boys Championship at Carleton Woods. Tournament play is scheduled for February 13th-16th at the Fazio Championship Course in The Woodlands, Texas.

The invitation-only U.S. Junior Golf Association event draws a large crowd of elite junior golfers.
Reigning tournament champion Myles Russell (currently No. 1 in the AJGA Rolex Rankings) and Royal Palm Beach’s Giuseppe Puebla (currently No. 2 in the AJGA Rankings). Six of the AJGA’s current top 10 players and 14 of the top 20 overall players lead the field.
There are 14 Floridians registered for the event, including Palm Beach County powerhouse Puebla, Woods, North Palm Beach’s Wylie Inman and Riviera Beach’s Brooks Colton.

Charlie Woods Ranking
Woods is currently ranked 21st in the latest Rolex AJGA rankings.
Last year, he played in eight events and earned points in the rankings, including a win at the Team TaylorMade Invitational in May and a tie for ninth at the Boys Junior PGA Championship in July.
Among other ranking services, Woods is ranked 43rd in the Universal Golf Ranking Boys Junior Poll and 61st in the Junior Golf Scoreboard Boys Ranking.
