Issa Allao has been linked with a move from Sheffield Wednesday for the past few months.

The 17-year-old is highly regarded across the country, with several top clubs keeping an eye on his development.

According to a report in The Star, the player is set to move to Chelsea in January. Sheffield Wednesday will receive a six-figure fee from the Premier League club, with the deal set to include significant add-ons.

Everton and Manchester City were also interested in signing the 17-year-old, but Chelsea won the race. The Blues have shown a willingness to invest in young talent in recent years, and are looking to further add to the club’s strong talent pool.

Wing-backs can play not only a defensive role, but also more advanced roles. He was recently handed his first start in the Championship and impressed against Portsmouth.
