This week is a big one for professional golf.
We have arrived at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines. We’re generally talking about one of the greatest events the PGA Tour has to offer. But this week is anything but a normal week.

As you know, this year’s Farmers represents more than just your standard first-class tournament. This year, Farmers will be making his return to the PGA Tour after Brooks Koepka’s outing with LIV Golf, and the world wants to see it all.
ESPN answers our call.
It was announced on Monday, but originally pat mcafee showESPN has announced that it will bring live PGA Tour coverage to its primary linear channel for the opening round of play on both Thursday and Friday from 12:00pm to 3:00pm ET. Thursday’s window would naturally coincide with Koepka’s return.
Notably, this is the first time in nearly 20 years (as reported by the tour itself) that ESPN will provide live coverage of a PGA Tour event that is not a major championship. To be clear, this means that ESPN is a linear channel, the main channel, and not secondary channel options or additional services like ESPN+.

For that matter, the broadcast will be available on ESPN, but the company will also release it on both Hulu and Disney+ for those who prefer to watch it that way.
Brooks Koepka is back.
