The Los Angeles recently parted ways with utility man Christaylor.

After 10 seasons in LA, Taylor was released as an emerging talent for the Triple A, returning to the team where the injured returned to the crowded clubhouse. The ultimate goal is baseball in October, so not only did they help the team right now, they had to move for years to come.

Because of the reality of this new roster, Andrew Friedman, president of the baseball business, added that Taylor’s latest role in LA did not encourage his success, but that he hopes the veteran will shine in the next chapter of his career.

“There are a lot of people, but CT is likewise difficult to play once a week. It’s a tough role, and with a vacuum isolated from him, perhaps not the best role for him to succeed,” Friedman said. “But it’s just the way our roster was unfolded, and that’s how it evolved. But he looks forward to getting the opportunity to play more frequently, and he has a chip on his shoulder.

The decision to release Taylor came just days after the team parted ways with another longtime Austin Burns veteran. The designated catchers for allocation, and in a corresponding move, Dalton, the top prospect from the last two seasons, called out to hurry up to back up Will Smith.

In Taylor’s case, his offensive production had been declining from past seasons as he had reached just .202 over the past two years.

Taylor’s contribution to the , including four pennants and two World Series trophies, will never be forgotten. The 2017 NLCS CO-MVP has a special place in the fandom, but as Friedman said, he is not finished.

At 34, Taylor has proven himself as a hot product around today’s landscape with his ability to play both infield and outfield to pair with his experience and leadership. Needless to say, Taylor has not had a shortage of clutch moments throughout his career.
