The third event of the PGA Tour season brings the world’s best players to the famous Torrey Pines in San Diego, California for the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open. Headlining the field this week will be Brooks Koepka, who will be playing on the PGA Tour for the first time in four years after moving to LIV Golf.

After being released on December 23, 2025, Koepka made a surprisingly quick comeback earlier this year. First star to return to PGA Tour Since launching LIV Golf.

Koepka talked about his decision to return on Tuesday, repeatedly pointing to his family situation and emphasizing the role Tiger Woods played in his return. He also opened up about not the actual golf itself, but the reactions he might receive from fans and players, and the nervousness he felt having to get through his first press conference.

With that out of the way, Koepka can now focus on playing golf, something he’s always been comfortable with. Koepka has some serious work to do to move up the rankings and qualify for the signature events on this season’s PGA Tour schedule, and what he calls the “grinding” begins Thursday against a strong field.

Playing alongside Koepka this week are Ludwig Oberg and Max Homa, who missed last week due to illness. That trio will tee off Thursday at 12:32 p.m. ET and Friday at 1:38 p.m. Other notable players in the field this week include Xander Schauffele, JJ Spahn, Harris English, Hideki Matsuyama, Justin Rose, Jason Day, Cameron Young and Patrick Cantlay.

While the entire team is trying to remind Koepka of his Tour strength by keeping him out of the winner’s circle in his return, Brooks has his sights set on showing Koepka is back and still a big threat.

Here’s how to watch Koepka, Schauffele and other stars take on Torrey Pines this week.
