Dominic Solanke scores a stunning Scorpion Kick goal to make it 2-2 between Tottenham and Manchester City.

Spurs completely turned the game around in the second half, coming back from a two-goal deficit to level the game.

Solanke was involved in the first goal, doing his best to force Marc Gehi to push the ball into the back of his own goal.

And soon after, he scored an impromptu Scorpion Kick goal to tie the game for Spurs, producing one of the best goals of the season.

Conor Gallagher, signed in January, lifted a cross into the box after his lung was destroyed on the right.

The shot was slightly delayed by Solanke, but the striker showed extraordinary instincts, bending forward and flicking the trailing heel to loop the ball over a stunned Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Look at the goals below.

Scorpion Kick’s past goals

Although rare, the ‘Scorpion’ left an indelible mark on the history of English football. Solanke now joins an elite club of acrobats who have pulled off this daring move.

Olivier Giroud (2017): Perhaps most famously, the Frenchman won the Puskas Trophy for his breathtaking Scorpion kick for Arsenal against Crystal Palace.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan (2016): Days before Giroud’s attack, the Manchester United midfielder converted a cross from Zlatan Ibrahimovic with a similar flick against Sunderland.

Arsenal extend lead to six points after City fumble

Manchester City’s failure to protect their two-goal lead will have a major impact on the Premier League title race.

After Arsenal’s thumping 4-0 win against Leeds United on Saturday, Josep Guardiola’s side needed a win to keep the pressure on the league leaders.

Instead, the draw in north London means City trail the Gunners by six points.

There will be a significant shift in momentum this weekend as Mikel Arteta’s side have once again found a clinical edge, which will see them firmly shift that advantage back to London’s red side towards the end of the season.
