Here are the newest Castrol-themed colors that Johann Zarco will sport during this year’s MotoGP World Championship.

The 2026 season will mark the French rider’s third year partnering with Honda, all spent racing for the LCR team with Castrol backing. This collaboration has included memorable moments such as his impressive victory at last year’s French Grand Prix held on his home soil.

The updated livery keeps Castrol’s classic red, white, and green colors, enhanced with some fresh elements ahead of the final year of the 1000cc Michelin era.

“I like it!” Zarco shared about the new LCR design. “It’s the usual Castrol colors combined with black and blue.”

He also expressed his ambition for the season: “My goal is to secure more wins!”

Zarco praised the performance of the new Honda machine and highlighted encouraging feedback from his new teammates during the shakedown. “Aleix was very quick, and Diogo has adapted well. This gives us high hopes for the 2026 season,” he added.

Additionally, rookie rider Diogo Moreira’s new Pro Honda colors have been revealed.

Johann Zarco has also recently defended Honda’s Suzuka 8 Hours midsummer victory, building on early-season success including a win at Le Mans and a dry-weather podium finish at Silverstone.

However, in the latter part of the season, the 35-year-old, who became the oldest full-time rider on the grid, was overshadowed by the factory HRC team’s Luca Marini and Joan Mir. The introduction of new HRC parts posed some challenges as well.

Zarco’s contract renewal with LCR extends through the end of 2027 and guarantees him access to the same technical specifications and updates as the official factory riders.

Before joining LCR, Zarco enjoyed race wins with Pramac Ducati, and last season he secured 12th place overall, remaining Honda’s top rider by just six points behind Marini.

The 23-time MotoGP podium finisher will debut the new livery at the official Sepang test scheduled for February 3 to 5.

Fan Take: For racing enthusiasts, Zarco’s continued collaboration with Honda and LCR signals exciting potential for the team’s competitiveness in the upcoming season. His experience combined with fresh talent and technical support could shake up the MotoGP grid, promising thrilling battles ahead.
