One of the most animated members of the in Los Angeles is utility man Kique Hernandez.

Given that Hernandez is his October batting average and pillar in October with his final two World Series victory, he’s far greater than the “Class Clown” label justly given for clubhouse attitude, profanity in post-match interviews, and practical jokes.

Hernandez is known to leave everything he has on the field, but he recently revealed the extent to which he went on one fateful night.

While interviewed as the Balls Podcast as Cold of comedian Kevin Hart, Hernandez spoke at a lesser-known moment on his illustrious postseason resume.

“I had a root canal, they didn’t crown it and it turned out to be cracked and infected,” Hernandez said. “I reached out to the dentist. He said, “You can give me antibiotics. You can get rid of it quickly, but the side effects give me diarrhea.”

“At this point, I’m in the game as a designated batter. I’m in the dugout, I’m ready to hit. And when I did it, I thought I’d fart.”

Hoping to save the details to readers, Hernandez informed him that what he felt was not actually farts.

“I hit on three pitches, so let me tell you, I’ve never made it happy to strike in my entire life.”

It’s unclear which postseason was discussing Hernandez on the podcast, but hopefully he’s ready for October and can focus solely on the numbers for the elite postseason.
