Arsenal’s eleven next season could be even better than the players who topped the Premier League and Champions League this season.

As we move past January and turn our attention to the summer transfer window, the Gunners have been linked with exciting names such as Atletico Madrid striker Julián Álvarez and Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali.

Arsenal are already a very strong team, but they could also use an upgrade in frontline Victor Goqueres after a rather unconvincing debut season at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal have already begun exploring the possibility of an ambitious move for Atletico frontman Alvarez, who could be ideal to play up front for Mikel Arteta’s side.

According to ESPN, Arsenal are considering signing Alvarez, and if they are able to do so, he would definitely be their first choice over Gokeres.

The Argentina international is also not at his best at the moment, having scored just one goal in his last 13 games.

Still, there is certainly a chance for Alvarez to bounce back after a mostly positive 40 goals in 88 games for Atlético, and an impressive 36 goals in two seasons as a Manchester City player.

How will Sandro Tonali fit into Arsenal?

Newcastle midfielder Tonali, who was recently linked with Arsenal by Athletic, is top-flight in the Premier League, but it is not always clear how he will fit into Arteta’s line-up.

You have to think that Declan Rice won’t lose his spot anytime soon, but maybe Tonali is seen as an upgrade to Martin Zvimendi?

This seems like a tough call for the Spain international, who have had mostly excellent results in the AFC this term, but have also made some high-profile mistakes.

This could simply be due to fatigue from starting so many games, and the addition of Tonali could allow for more rotation.

Possibility of Arsenal playing all eleven games in the 2026/27 season

Here is Arsenal’s potential eleven for next season: Alvarez will play up front, Tonali will play in the midfield, and Nathaniel Brown will also join the team at left-back.

Our information is that Arsenal are keeping an eye on Brown after his good form with Eintracht Frankfurt, so there’s a good chance that Piero Hincapie’s loan won’t become a permanent deal, while Riccardo Calafioli’s injury history could mean he could be demoted to the reserves.

This is an Arsenal team that looks very strong and if they can keep other big names like Ebereshi Eze, Martin Odegaard and Noni Madueke as rotation options, they will no doubt be in good shape to challenge on all four fronts again as they have done this term.
