One of Tottenham Hotspur’s star players will join Dejan Kulusevski and others after Thomas Frank suffers another injury.

Frank: Tottenham ‘desperate to win the game’

Cristian Romero has just made comments criticizing the north Londoner’s transfer manager, and the last thing both he and Spurs need is for him to be sacked. The captain had complained about the team’s depth, but Frank now has yet another avoidable problem to deal with over the next four games.

These are desperate times for Tottenham, who have made no progress since finishing bottom of the table last season. And even Frank couldn’t hide his despair, admitting how badly his team needed a win against Newcaste United this week.

The Dane told reporters:There is no doubt that we are desperate to win the game. Hopeless. I’ll focus on Newcastle tomorrow. We have a great chance to play against a good team.

“That’s the important thing – can we go out there tomorrow and get the three points, that would be very good and we’ll just climb out of there and look forward.”. ”

talkSPORT’s experts had some strong words.

What hasn’t helped the Spurs this season is Kulusevski’s absence. The Swede was one of the few bright spots last season, but has been injured since May last year and could miss the rest of the season.

Of course, the former Juventus player is not the only injury worry Frank now has to satisfy. More bad news for Spurs ahead of crucial games against Tottenham and Newcastle.

Frank confirms the extent of Udogie’s injury.

In the last match, Destiny Udogi was the last to go limping as Man United put the Lilywhites on edge. Now, Frank has confirmed that Udogi will miss at least the next four games, assuming he is out for a month.

This means Udogi, like Romero, will miss the North London derby on Sunday 22 February, as well as games against Crystal Palace, Fulham and Newcastle.

For Frank, this is not just an injury, but also a significant absence. Everyone at the club will be well aware of Udogi’s quality when he is at his best, and the praise he received from the Spurs manager earlier this season reflected that.

He told reporters: “It was exceptional. (Udogie) was exceptional today. He was almost unstoppable going forward. And I think it was Wilson who had to chase him down a little bit, too, because it was a bit of a pressure situation and it was a wonder goal for Brighton. But he went forward and completely beat him. It was very good, right at the top.”
