Spire Motorsports has revealed that Kyle Busch, a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, will be competing in eight races in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) this year. Alongside Busch, Cup drivers Ross Chastain and Carson Josevar are set to take part in most of the Truck Series events while managing their regular Sunday Cup schedules.

At 40 years old, Busch holds the record for the most wins in Truck Series history. In addition to his 63 victories in the Cup Series and 102 wins in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, he boasts a total of 67 wins on various tracks. His latest triumph came from a thrilling photo finish at Atlanta last year, driving for Spire Motorsports. This season, Busch will race in eight Truck Series events behind the wheel of the No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado, with support from HendrickCars.com.

Busch expressed enthusiasm about the recent changes to the “Kyle Busch Rule,” which now allows him to compete in more races. “I’m excited to team up with Jeff Dickerson, Brian Patty, and everyone at Spire Motorsports to take part in eight races this season,” he said. He added that while the team has celebrated wins at most venues, there remain a few tracks where they aim to secure victories. Busch and his partners, including Mr. H and HendrickCars.com, are committed to pursuing success throughout the schedule in their quest for more wins.

Kyle Busch’s 2026 NCTS Race Schedule includes:

  • Echo Park Speedway (Atlanta) – February 21
  • Bristol Motor Speedway – April 10
  • Texas Motor Speedway – May 1
  • Dover Motor Speedway – May 15
  • Charlotte Motor Speedway – May 22
  • Nashville Superspeedway – May 29
  • North Wilkesboro Speedway – July 18
  • Richmond Raceway – August 14
