His only AJGA win came last May at the Team TaylorMade Invitational, and he tied for ninth at last summer’s Junior PGA Championship, pushing him up the rankings and attracting interest from top college golf programs.
Woods will join fellow Seminoles player Myles Russell, the No. 1 player in junior golf.
Tiger Woods also chose to remain in the state when he graduated from high school in Southern California and played two years at Stanford University. His daughter Sam is currently attending Stanford University.
Some of the major champions who played at Florida State include Brooks Koepka, Paul Azinger, and Jeff Sluman.
