Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesco received huge praise from caretaker manager Michael Carrick after scoring a stunning equalizer against West Ham.

The Slovenian international wasn’t always that convincing in his first season at Manchester United, but he showed his quality with a sublime finish to snatch a draw late last night.

Check out some great angles of Sesco’s finish below. Carrick earned praise after the match when he talked about this finish…

“It was an unbelievable finish, creating that much power from that angle. This was a goal by him,” Carrick was quoted as saying by the Metro newspaper.

“He can do it, Ben. He’s done it over time. He didn’t just come onto the scene all of a sudden. He’s been doing it and proving he can score goals.

“He’s been doing that in our training, so it’s not surprising to be honest. That’s what he’s supposed to do and what he’s good at.”

“That last goal would have given him a good life and tonight was another important goal and a big moment for him and for us.”

Benjamin Sesco’s first season at Man United so far

Sesco appeared in 87 games and scored 39 goals in two seasons with his former club RB Leipzig, and was seen as a promising prospect.

The 22-year-old has been a bit slow to hit the ground running at Old Trafford, but has now scored seven goals in 23 appearances.

This includes scoring five goals in their last six games, and Sesco has produced goods that have helped improve MUFC’s overall form.

This isn’t the worst start for Sesco, who is still young, developing as a player and adjusting to playing in a new league, even if United fans expect more in the coming years.
