The 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am kicks off Thursday as the first marquee event of the 2026 PGA Tour season and also serves as the season debut for superstar Rory McIlroy. The 36-year-old begins the 2025 season with three wins, tying the record for most wins in a year since 2012, and SportsLine Models projects him to get off to a strong start at Northern California’s Pebble Beach Golf Links. According to the latest 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am odds, McIlroy has the second-shortest odds to win the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am at +1300, but the model is not picking him as the favorite to win. This model has McIlroy as one of the top 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am prop bets, with a chance to finish in the top five at +290 odds. This signature event will feature an elite field including Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, and Tommy Fleetwood, so there will be plenty of competition for the top spot for McIlroy, which will help create value for the model at nearly 3-1 odds in McIlroy’s 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am bet. McIlroy will be paired with Ryan Fox on Thursday and will tee off at 12:24 p.m. ET.
In addition to favoring McIlroy, the model also sees value in AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am betting with Hideki Matsuyama to finish in the top 10 at +300 odds and Matt Fitzpatrick to win the group at +305 odds. Matsuyama came close to winning last weekend’s WM Phoenix Open despite missing the playoffs, and the model projects him to carry on that success and finish in the top 10 this weekend. Rory McIlroy: Top 5 finish (+290)
The world No. 2 golfer ranked third in total strokes gained on the PGA Tour last year, including fourth in off-the-tee strokes gained and ninth in putting strokes gained. He’s always been known for his strong drives, and he didn’t disappoint last year. It ranked second in average mileage. His putter played a key role, ranking 9th in average putts and 10th in one-putt percentage, which contributed to his all-around game, which helped him finish fifth on the PGA Tour in points scored. McIlroy won last year’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in his season debut and has three wins and four top-five finishes in his first six tournaments. The model expects McIlroy to get off to another strong start at Pebble Beach, projecting his value to finish in the top five this weekend with odds of +290.

Hideki Matsuyama: Top 10 finish (+300)
At last weekend’s Waste Management Phoenix Open, Matsuyama looked to be in control for the most part until Sunday’s round of 64 sent Chris Gotterup into a playoff, with Gotterup ultimately winning, but Matsuyama had a strong four-rounder over the weekend. The 33-year-old has shot 68 or better on all four days, including his own 64 on Friday, and has finished 13th or worse in three tournaments this year. So far this season, he’s off to a strong start, ranking 10th on the PGA Tour in total strokes gained, second in scrambling and 12th in scoring average. He won the Hero World Challenge in December and finished in the top 20 and top-10 in five of his last seven tournaments on the PGA Tour last season. Given his start to the season, and especially his play last weekend, the model believes he has value at these odds to finish in the top 10.

Matt Fitzpatrick DraftKings Group D Winner (+305)
DraftKings Sportsbook has Fitzpatrick, Chris Gotterup, Robert McIntyre, Jake Knapp and JJ Spawn in Group D. Chris Gotterup (+285) has the best odds to top score within that group, but the model predicts Fitzpatrick to finish at the top of these competitors. Fitzpatrick, 29, finished ninth at last week’s Waste Management Phoenix Open, shooting all four rounds of 70 or better, including an opening 65. Fitzpatrick has played in four of six AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am tournaments, including a T6 finish in 2022. Gottarup may get a surge of success after last week’s win, but that win could lead to disappointment in the short term. The model doesn’t predict Gottharp to finish in the top 10 this weekend, with odds better than 3-1, and it seems to like Fitzpatrick on a course he has more experience with.
