Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr gave further comments on Jonathan Kuminga.

Jonathan Kuminga is a hot topic for the Golden State Warriors, and head coach Steve Kerr is quized about him every day.

This follows the dramatic postseason in which Kuminga began entirely with a spin as a DNP and ended the Minnesota Timber Wolves Series as the team’s most consistent goalscorer.

However, there are still questions about the long-term compatibility with the team as they have the opportunity to come due to the injury to Steph Curry of Kuminga.

Speaking on this week’s podcast, Steve Kerr confirmed that Jonathan Cuminga is not a player the Warriors can regularly guarantee.

And in a new interview with 95.7 The Game, Kerr was asked whether Jonathan Kuminga wanted to leave.

Kerr responded honestly, admitting that he admitted that the situation has not been cut for the Warriors star.

He said:

“This is all basketball, and this isn’t about a high school girl coming, saying, ‘Hey, we have to get out of here.’ I want that.

“This is just trying to fit this, we’re trying to do this job, but every player, every young player, even the older guys, they want to fit well with what’s going on.

“So I think some of the JKs are thinking about going elsewhere.”

There was a question asked about Steve Kerr and Kendrick Perkins’ relationship with Jonathan Cuminga.

Others, including Charles Oakley, have flipped the warriors to trade Kuminga, especially when his trade values skyrocketed through his playoff performances.

Kuminga is a limited free agent this summer, with the most likely outcome being a sign-and-trade agreement.
