Cognizant Classic predictions for 2026
One of the big surprises this model is conjuring at Cognizant Classic 2026 is that Lowry, this week’s second favorite and 2019 Open Championship winner, isn’t even in the top three. He is a declining golfer this week. Lowry hasn’t won an individual event on the PGA Tour since that major championship, but he teamed up with Rory McIlroy to win the 2024 Zurich Classic in New Orleans. Another surprise: The model rates Daniel Berger very highly as a longshot at +2700, and says he’s a top-six candidate despite not being in the top-10 on the odds board.
