The PGA Tour’s schedule shifts east for the Florida Swing starting this week as the 2026 Cognizant Classic opens the tour in Palm Beach, where players will be challenged to tame the Bear Trap at PGA National’s Champion Course.
After a string of high-profile events, and with the Arnold Palmer Invitational next week, many of the world’s top players will be taking a week off, giving players on the field a chance to earn wins and valuable FedExCup points.
This week’s betting favorite is Ryan Gerrard, who has already finished in the top 10 this season and picked up his first career win at the Barracuda Championship last year. Other rising stars in the field include Michael Thorbjornsen, the Hejgaard twins and Rasmus Neergaard-Petersson, who are all looking to join the winner’s circle and add to their strong early career resumes.
They will be challenged by veterans looking to get back on track, along with notable players like Shane Lowry, Daniel Berger, Will Zalatoris, Max Homa, Tom Kim and Brooks Koepka. They’re all looking to get back into the winner’s circle and re-establish themselves as threats on the PGA Tour. Koepka is especially interesting as he continues to explore his form after returning from LIV Golf.
The battle between veterans and rising stars this week at PGA National will be very interesting. Here’s how you can watch every game in Palm Beach this week.
