“Be careful”… Draymond Green tells Jonathan Cuminga that he can’t afford to do it again

Draymond Green has received very specific advice to Jonathan Cuminga on how he must respond to Steve Kerr’s comments.

Golden State Warriors Veteran Raymond Green has issued some advice to teammate Jonathan Kuminga.

Jonathan Kuminga is set to become a restricted free agent, and speaking in the second of two interviews this week, head coach Steve Kerr says he’s not sure if the players want to stay.

This came 24 hours after Carr said he couldn’t fit Kuminga into his preferred rotation as a starter to play the few minutes the players wanted.

NBA champion Draymond Green broke Carmond’s comments, saying he doesn’t necessarily agree with the head coach.

And he would want Kuminga to make his remarks, but he urges him to spend quietly for his own good.

Green told the podcast: “He’s a legend. He’ll be a Hall of Fame. These are just facts. And I don’t know if it’s worth catching up with, “Steve said this” or “Steve said this.” ”

He continued, discussing Kuminga’s possible ideas.

“Frankly, I don’t think JKs should do the next interview until after the free agency.”

Draymond Green says Jonathan Cuminga never gets from his interactions with the legendary head coach.

He said: “In this position that JKs have to be careful about, Steve Kerr is a legend. Steve Kerr is one of the greatest coaches we’ve seen.

“JK can only lose here. He can say something, that may be wrong, but he can only lose here.

“He has nothing to gain from saying something and trying to respond to it.

Green says Kuminga should let the situation unfold, pointing to the fact that the 22-year-old is on his way to free agency, increasing his value since the playoffs.

“Don’t say anything, the free agency is happening. You have to enter free agency. He is a restricted free agent. You need to understand what works for you. And that happens anyway.

“(I’m not going to sit here and discuss or go back and forth over his beliefs. I don’t think JK should either.”
